Video Production in Reno – Studio Benna and Bike Week
Studio Benna has had an amazing opportunity over the last several months to work with Truckee Meadows Bicycle Alliance in creating videos for web and TV to promote the upcoming Bike Week that runs this year in Washoe County from May 9th-May 15th. Our first video was a 15s “teaser” graphic video. Graphic elements were provided by TMBA and scripting, animation and voice over recording were produced by Studio Benna. Check it out:
Our second video, which will air as a TV spot, involved quite a bit more production! We had cyclist volunteers, a child actor and two great locations.

CDW Conference San Diego – November 2014
The following videos were produced for the November 2014 CDW conference focusing on the role of software defined networks on the enterprise. The event was held in sunny San Diego and featured a case study of SDN as used by The Bama Companies, represented here by Eric Spille. Panelists and contributors included Lane Cooper, Deepak Munjal, Rick Reddell, Peter Brennan and Howard Weiss.
These videos represent an interesting case study in using similar material to produce multiple deliverables. The client wanted three videos, each one of a different length, so viewers with a limited amount of time could still get a feel for the conference and its content without having to necessarily watch the longest version. Studio Benna worked with CDW to craft each video so that, in the event that a viewer was intrigued by a shorter piece and wanted to watch more, the next video would contain unique content.

The Bauserman Group – “Bulldog” TV Spot

Reno Video Production Company works with The Bauserman Group
Studio Benna worked with Reno-based advertising agency The Buaserman Group to produce a TV commercial for the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The client wished for a funny and memorable video to celebrate the local Gonzaga basketball team.
Studio Benna worked closely with The Bauserman Group to flesh out the concept. Principal photography took place at the Reno Boys and Girls club with additional green screen photography done on Studio Benna’s main production stage. Editing, graphics and color correction were completed in the studio’s video editing suite.

Studio Benna worked with The Fare Trade to film a series of videos in Reno, Nevada based around Mark Estee, owner and proprietor of Campo, located in downtown Reno. The FareTrade works with award-winning chefs – such as Mark Estee – to curate baskets of small-batch ingredients, delivered to your door each month. The chefs provide exclusive recipes + video tutorials so you can cook like a master chef from the comfort of your own home.
Studio Benna provided the equipment and personnel to film the main interview with Mr. Estee as well as the cooking demonstrations. Posted below are two of a series of five videos that The Fare Trade produced using Studio Benna’s Reno video production services.

ACS Gala 2014 Videos

In May 2014, Studio Benna worked in collaboration with the Reno office of the American Cancer Society to produce their “Mission Moment” video that would be played during their annual gala dinner event. We interviewed several cancer survivors who had been touched by the American Cancer Society. Opting to focus on the stories and the faces of these brave folks, Studio Benna chose a simple production aesthetic: the infinite white cyc wall on the main production stage in their Reno video production facility.

Studio Benna also produced this interview with Dr. Subhash Verma, a cancer researcher working out of the University of Nevada-Reno who was a recepient of American Cancer Society funds. This video was played during the 2014 Reno ACS gala event as well. In this clip, Dr. Verma explains his research, his motivations for his work, and offers thanks for the help he has received from ACS donors.

Reno Video Production – American Cancer Society with Studio Benna
Every year, the Reno American Cancer Society holds their Suits and Sneakers Gala event to celebrate donors from the previous year and raise funds for the upcoming year. They also produce a commercial campaign to announce the event and thank their sponsors. This year the Reno American Cancer Society worked with Studio Benna to produce their TV and Radio campaigns. Studio Benna produced two versions of the TV spot to feature different large sponsors.
