Reno Video Producer Studio Benna Hits the Road
Cameron White here from Studio Benna! While Studio Benna usually keeps me in Reno to carry out local film and video production in Northern Nevada, two weeks ago our sister company, Journeyfilm, provided me an opportunity to go out and film the Sonoma Lake 50 ultramarathon race. The video that we produced after the race can be seen on iRunFar, who had contracted with us to cover the race. I left Friday afternoon and made it to Healdsburg, CA just in time to experience an evening of glorious scenery and light. In beautiful Napa-Sonoma wine country the air was just humid enough to cast an otherworldly aura over everything. After checking into my hotel I immediately ran out to get some b-roll shots of the area.
Studio Benna just completed a new fun running and cycling video in collaboration with sister company Journeyfilm created for Strava to announce the new version of their mobile gps activity tracking application. The entire video production was completed in the Reno area, with Studio Benna’s Reno based film crew and local Reno and Tahoe area athletes.
Introducing The New Feed from Strava on Vimeo.
Studio Benna principal JB Benna wrote, directed, and shot the piece, which was refined for brand and product needs by the Strava team. Studio Benna’s head of production Cameron White was the primary editor and worked with JB Benna and the Strava team to achieve the perfect balance between showcasing Strava’s updates to its mobile app and JB’s desire to tell the story of a young woman who, in following her friends’ adventures on Strava thoughout the day, gets inspired to get out for a run herself.
